Basque Center for Applied Mathematics – BCAM will take part in the Wind Europe Annual Event 2022 with the participation of Nicolás Gorostidi, a PhD student at the centre. The conference, which brings together more than 8000 participants, will take place at the Bilbao Exhibition Center from 5 to 7 April.
The event is one of the largest gatherings in the field of wind energy, with the aim of showcasing the latest in onshore and offshore wind energy. It features an extensive programme of conferences, networking sessions, different topics and the chance to meet other industry players on the exhibition floor.
Among the more than 300 speakers at the event is Gorostidi, who will talk about Predictive Maintenance of Floating Offshore Wind Turbine Mooring Lines using Deep Neural Networks, as part of his doctoral research.
